We are back in Warrington for Rivfest18!
This is us last time we played Warrington in May supporting Fun Loving Criminals at Warrington Music Festival. Clink the image above to go to the gallery. It was an awesome day.
We’re back this weekend for Rivfest18 on Saturday 14 July. We’re all proud to have the opportunity to pay our respects to the lads from Viola Beach and Craig Tarry.
It’s a fantastic line-up for a great cause, we play at The Auction Rooms at about 7.00pm.
Hope to see you there.
Tickets are still available from Seetickets and loads of information at River Reeves Foundation.
There are so many great bands on the RivFest line up this year and we’re feeling proud to have been included.
This event is raising funds for such a great cause as a legacy to River Reeves & Viola Beach.
We are playing at The Auction Rooms on Saturday.

The Zangwills have been reviewed by Getintothis in the past and again with the recent single launch of Horrors of Sobriety Deep Cuts have also included it in their #17 – best new track of May 2018.
Other reviews include music from Yank Scally, Deh-Yey, Ty Freeman, Eyesore and the Jinx.
Well worth a read and can be found at:

We are absolutely buzzing to have been asked to be part of The Charlatans North By Northwich Takeover event in May. The town has never seen the likes of this before, we can’t wait.
Taking place throughout Northwich from 10 – 20 May and includes gigs from Slow Readers Club and many others in support of the main act – The Charlatans.
There is also a Vinyl Record Fair and DJ sets by Clint Boon and Tim Burgess over the course of the takeover.
We are playing a set at Barons Quay on 18 May as part of the Sound City Satellite stage in support of The Charlatans later that evening.
It’s free entry and we’ll be on-stage at 5.30pm.
In addition to the gig, Jake, Ed and our Manager Jackie will also be sharing a few thoughts on the conference panel at 12pm so come and say hello if you’re around.
It’s going to be epic.
The Zangwills played their biggest headline gig to date on Friday 27th April at Manchester Club Academy for Dusty Pop Entertainment.
Massive thanks to everyone who came along for a very special night and to the support The Modern Business, Cinnamon Dinner and Black Tea.
Check-out Club Academy gig gallery.
We owe these lovely people a beer!
We know how good the new single, Horrors of Sobriety, is but it is awesome when we read a review like this from Halfway2Nowhere.co.uk
Since 2017, Halfway2Nowhere have built a great reputation in Yorkshire and further afield, attending shows all over England. They quote as saying “We love meeting new bands, reviewing shows, festivals and above all, discovering new talent.” Amen to that.
Cheers for the review.
You can read the full The Zangwill’s Horrors of Sobriety review from halfway2nowhere.co.uk here.
You can listen to Horrors of Sobriety and New Heights and follow them on Spotify.
You can also purchase both singles on Apple Music and check-out the Gallery for loads of live gig images.
The band’s latest single is now released on all major platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
The Horrors of Sobriety was recorded at The Edge Recording Studios, produced by Mark Winterburn.
Mastered by Ben Booker at BB Audio.

Tickets are now on sale from FATSOMA for the biggest live date so far.
A massive night is in store at one of Manchester’s most iconic live venues. Going to be epic.
